Common Position (EC) No 40/2001 of 27 September 2001 adopted by the Council, acting in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 251 of the Treaty establishing the European Community, with a view to adopting a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Directive 96/53/EC laying down for certain road vehicles circulating within the Community maximum authorised dimensions in national and international traffic and the maximum authorised weights in international traffic.
